I made it from scratch with 3D Max. Made the texture in Photoshop.
Here is some more shots. It was used for the main character for a game demo about an alien who gets transported to earth and has to find his way home. I find out next week if Microsoft is going to give us some money to make the game.

these are some WIP's of mine, i pretty much thrown away the house, but working on the Head right now. gotta patch up and make half of the body below then mirror it and it well pretty much done....

3d max is for noobs! LoL i only hate 3d max because of the huge Interface differentes, Maya is so damn clean and has a better Mental Ray Version :dance:

O yea, it's probably best while Creating a Character to round them off, and Text them Almost like every few Pixel's in a row. that's how many Top models come out with all these high quality Games/Movies

Yeah. I don't know one iota of Maya but would love to learn it. I recently went through Glen Southern's tutorials on Z-Brush. The interface is way better than Max and much better at creating organics than Max. Here is a shot of the room I work in:
