Hi everyone,

Could someone explain what LST is? I searched on it, and see where many people use it, but I can't figure out what it is!

It's were you tie the plant down at the top, or bend it over gently, and let the secondry growth grow up. I tied my outdoor plant over today.

Someone will give you mroe precise details cos im a little stoned rihgt now

When is an appropriate timeframe to tie them down? Mine are about 12" tall and I just put them into 12/12. Is it too late for me?

I had to train mine well into 12/12 (constant training from 7" veg into flower) handcuffing fan leaves, finnishing bends, didn't hurt my plants at all, seemingly. It would've been nice to do all my training in veg, but sometimes you have to do it in flowering to get the right fit.

i would start the lst when you know that the plant is female, you dont wanta be wasting time on a male.

Pfffft..tell me about it. But if you really want to maximize the effects of doing an LST, you'll have to start tying in veg. The sooner you can get light on secondaries the better, right? And this is whether you're just tucking some fan leaves or bending over the whole plant. Just my experience...
