Driving High

Well, heres what I want to know, as I've been reading it seems alot of people still drive when their high as shit. How do you do it? Do you just practice doing it, or is it different for different people. I know myself when I drive all messed up(not drunk just high) I get the shakes real bad and find myself having real bad jerks while iam driving so I decided just not to do it. does this happen to anyone else or is it probably due to me not really smoking to often and not being used to it?

i kinda focus on driving more while im high to make sure i dont fuck up. cant really focus on the high, but atleast im driving relaxed.

I drive high every day it's no biggie at all now.
never was really.
I tend to focus more on the road and pay more attention to my speed
while still cruisin' with my head in the clouds.
just takes practice I suppose, but I'm sure not everyone is meant to be a high flyer..err driver.
I mainly like blaring some good tune and get pounded by the row of subwoofers behind me.

yeah thats what ive heard you focus alot more, and trust me I know what you mean. It snows like crazy where iam from and i had to go home onetime and it was snowing so bad I couldnt see the road to drive, in a normal stance it would of been crazy to drive, but i was blazed as hell ( it wasnt snowing before I started smoking) but anyway somehow i made it home but still i would twitch and felt like the high was taking over even tho I was focusing so hard. anyway I just dont see how i could do it again.

Fuck, somehow my dumbass was tripping and decided to drive to my friend's house during 5 o'clock friday traffic and it was sooo intense and crazy.
I had to deal with all those fucking light patterns and hallucinations, not to mention staying b/t the lines.

driving high is the complete opposite of ^that^ for me.

Its fun cuz ur alredy floatin n u see things clearer. But if u liv whr I liv n drive a 90 impala or caprice sittin on 20's with tints,or ur car has the same features I wouldn't try 2 learn. Police discriminate with cars,sounds funny. Prolly whr u live too

I cant drive but I have a bad story about driving high....I was in the car with one of my buddies and we just got done smoking 4 blunts between just me and him and we wanted to go get something from mcdonalds....we get into the car and I get into the back (cause I like to ride in the back) and start going down the road I am just sitting there and suddenly I slam forward into the back of the seat...turns out he hit a tree...it sucked so bad...we were able to ride away but we had some body damage....we just went back home and I scolded him about it

^holy shit!!^ i can only imagine wat it must be ike to drive in rushour traffic on 'cid. madness.
i drive high all the time. sometimes, i smoke while im driving. but this CAN be dangerous. onetime my buddy was driving and smoking, and he got 'overstimulated' too much info comin from his eyes and ears for his high brain to handle. he crashed, cos for a second, he forgot how to drive. but hes fine. ive never crashed high. actually, ive never crashed.

I think your success at driving while ripped depends on your comfort level. I've never had an issue at all. When I drive, I leave the side windows up but open the roof. So as I smoke, it just goes through the roof. I try to find nice 'comfort' zones to drive in....nobody around me for at least 2 car lengths. When I'm done, I put everything in the center console and drop the rear-seat windows to let everything air out. Driving wise, it's really no different than when I drive sober. The only real difference is that asshole drivers don't bother me as much. I'm just crusing in my own little world.

I concentrate alot more on the road, i mean, the weed should relax you, so you can drive pretty good, but i guess for some people they do get the shakes and then its not so safe.

I supose at the end of the day, your still stoned, and while driving its just as bad as being drunk if you kill someone cos you was laughing or something.

Also recently i got the shakes, not from being stoned and driving, just randomly got the shakes, and i still kinda got em, so i havnt got stoned and drove for about 2 weeks.

I have to make myself sober to drive now, and i havnt really been sober for the last 3 years, its wierd, but oh well. I still smoke the same amount a day though lol.

Im stoned now, and its all great. I love life.

i hate driving when i'm high. only do it if i really have to. Out of all the times i've driven high; never got pulled over or any fender benders..i just tend to drive slower then i normally drive, try to compensate by speeding up, and then get paranoid and slow back down (when i think bak on it i should of got pulled over every time..LoL)

Not about driving but something you can compare.

When I was a beginner, I would never DARE go outside when I toked up. I thought I would act too stupid and get caught. I thought it was a loser thing to do even.
Then I just got used to it and went outside months later and was able to handle everything.

But this ONE time, after over a full year of smoking or two. I took only a SINGLE hit of this super strong weed my friend had and it was really strong and I mean STRONG! I really couldn't go outside, but my friend was getting annoyed. He didn't smoke so he couldn't understand. I didn't wanna wuss out.. so I went with him 10 blocks to a guitar store. Damn it was a bitch. I tried not to crack up in public and it was evening too. Lots of people in the daylight. Then I almost got ran over by crossing a street with a red light sign (ny manhattan).
Luckily my friend took out his arm and blocked me from crossing. I was real careful about crossing the street after he did that though cause I embarrassed myself doing that. So it never happened again. For every don't walk sign that appeared, I was a careful bitch.

When we finally got to the guitar store, there was this one section I loved that was heaven. This dark room that was filled with rows of beautiful guitars. I didn't wanna leave lol!

"Dude.. I know I'm just baked and all, but I just had to say that this room is really beautiful right now with all these guitars neatly lined up in this neat little atmosphere." lol.

But really, the moral is: Don't smoke high grades and drive. I only forgot to check the don't walk sign ONCE and if I was alone, I would have been hurt.. it takes only one time to make that one small mistake that could ruin everything.

If I were to smoke a full dime of mids, it would have been nothing. I smoked a full dime of mids before and was able to cross streets easily,
but that was just a single hit of some super weed I had when I had to walk with my friend and I almost got ran over.
Amsterdam has that 'smoke in the privacy of your home' rule for a reason. Be smart, be safe.

I'm glad my best friend is a smart kid who acted as a great sitter for me. If you are too high, make sure you have a sober (enough) friend with you to help you out like my friend. And I don't mean young dumbass kids who will forget about you and chat with the cute girl nearby and let you get run over.
Jesus, I have way too much to lose and it all could have been lost when that fast car nearly hit me.
Once again. BE SMART AND BE SAFE! Better safer than sorry.

my friend has a late model cutlass sittin with about 2 inches of ground clearance
with some pro hopper hydros and gold 17 inch dayton rims
with about 4000 watts of MTX in the back
that thing bumps
he gets stopped way more than anybody i know

one of the people i would hang out with in high school did shrooms for the first time one night and he had to go home after he took them. so as he was driving he saw all this fog covering the road and all of a sudden f-14 fighter jets flew past him. but it was only the cars on the other side of the road.

that made me remember another story
i smoked a bowl while everyone was out one morning and it had started snowing and ther was like 2 inches on the ground or so. and i thought i want to get a blunt for later and bake out my car that night in the snow. so i go out stoned in my neon. so insted of just driving safe geting the dutch i decided to just slide my car around on the road. it was stupid but it was oh so much fun dident hurt anything either.

So we sit down and sitting next to this guy I'd never met and he was trippin balls on something. I sit down and the first thing he says is "I love you so much man, I love you more than God.", which was wierd. 5 minutes later he asks me if I want to rob a bank with him and then run away to mexico. I was starting to think that maybe he was gay or something because he kept staring at me and a really awkward fashion. Anyway, the movie starts and within 5 minutes the guy starts freaking out. And I think he thought what was happening in the movie was happening to him. Suddenly he gets up and screams "HOLY SHIT ITS IN MY EYE!!" and then runs down the isle screaming "GET IT OUT! GET IT OUT!" until he trips down the stairs and falls. I've never seen anyone freaked out that bad in my life, straight or on drugs. not to sure what that has to do about driving tho...
