Alright, this might sound weird, but its important to me. i'm on the edge of tears right now, and that only happens when something happens with my girlfriend. first, let me say this. we've been together for a year, and i love her more than anything, and im not just saying that. i really do, and she loves me too.

Today, i got home, and was talking to her online, and she said she was pissed. then she goes and rhymes off a list of things i did or didnt do, all of which are true. not small stuff either. ive got a friend who used to like her, and then she went out with me, and now he hates her, and pretends she doesnt exist, but he's still a normal guy towards me, and i havent talked to him about her, which i should have, a long while ago.

she just said that, while she loves me, she wants to spend tomrrow with her friends, then signed off msn, and hasnt come back on... this is gonna kill me, not spending time with her, expecially after we had a talk like this.

any advice? not sure what you can do about something like this, but still... anything would be nice...

and please, only serious posts. i read enough bullshit posts on this board, which pisses me off, especially when people are asking for serious advice.

Thanks
Mike

well man not much you can do at this point.
it's only a day right?
and according to her, she does still love you, so what's the worry?
sometimes a day or two apart is good for a couple and let's the individuals clear their heads and sort things out.
good luck man.

i just hope this doesnt effect our plans for the weekend... its the may long weekend, we're going to her cottage for the weekend...:) should be good...

also, ive spend most of my time at school with her lately, its just become... habit? i find her in the morning, walk her to class, eat lunch with her, wander around for a while, walk her to class, sometimes see her between classes in the afternoon, then i usually walk her home after school... might seem kinda clingy? but i dunno... w/e

thanks man

it'll only affect your plans if you let it.
from what you said, the weekend sounds like the perfect chance to discuss with her about whatever you want, so do it then.

have a "goooood" weekend lol.

wow, lol, after reading your edit, I was the exact same way with a chick in high school. had class together, lunch, so on and so forth.

veryyy similar.

then we started hanging out more outside of school and started dating...hmm

Is she bothered by your friend hating her?I think you need to try and sort this problem out first.

I think you are maybe spending a bit too much time together,us females like to just hang out with our girly pals sometimes so if she does say lets spend more time apart dont worry.

'clingy' doesn't quite grasp it... more like near-stalker... o.0 tone that shit down some you're gonna scare the girl...

Most women don't like clinginess...find something to occupy your time.

I don't understand the part about your friend... is she mad that you're still cool with him?

Let her have her day off, and then see how she is tomorrow... absense makes the heart grow fonder!

I am in agreement that you should give her the space she needs. Ask her if she wants to spend less time with you and spend only quality time together when you have plans. Less just sitting around together is good for a relationship. If every time you plan to chill you have something fun planned it will make a big difference.

I would have to know what "things" you did or didnt do that she is upset about.

The needy thing is common (for both guys and girls) but is something that you need to work through, because if you're really gonna have a lifetime relationship, then both of you will need to trust each other to spend time away.

A good approach would be to say "Have a great time with your girlfriends", then follow up with "I really hope our plans for the weekend are still on".

well, she's kinda funny like this, i dunno if its normal or what. but today she was herself, and she seemed not to mean the thing about not seeing me today. we hung out at lunch, and whe weekend is definitely still on. well, thanks for the advice. although, looking back, im not sure it was advice i was looking for, so much as just a place to get it out. way too often, something happens between us, and i keep it inside, when it feels much better just to get it out.

thanks anyways, but everything's gonna be fine:)
