The bearded dragon. Anyone heard of/have one? They're extremely fascinating agamids, which, would be a class of lizards that the iguana also belongs to. They're known for their bluntly triangular-shaped heads and sharp, talon like claws. Although they are relatively small when compared to a full grown iguana, many consider them to be "giant" lizards. They interact with one another with such intelligence, it's fascinating. They have the ability to run bidepally (on it's hind legs) should they need to escape predators, and also blow up they're spiky beards to intimade potential prey. I have two hatchlings, one is named Sargon after the third king in documented history. The other, Sparticus, after the roman slave gone one of the greatest warriors of his time. Unfortunately I dont have any pics of my babies but here are some full grown beardeds to feast your eyes on. How cool are these guys?
