sunlight

hi,
since i am growing indoors,
my plants dont get as much light as they should.

How many hours of sunlight is needed per day?
i hope its not like 12 hrs, cuz i cant keep a light on them that long.

Veg. cycle...18-24 hours light

Flowering....12 hours light
