just started growing and after some profesh advice.got me a hps 400w lamp and any tips about producing a good yield would be appreciated

When you ask questions, be sure to post one thread... not more...
Be sure to wait 24hours for replies before considering that the world ended and nobody answered.
Check out other people's threads.... not half-assed... but look at the pictures... read the information... study the pictures... imagine you're walking "on vacation" to another's grow room... enjoy the trip!

And last, say thanks when people answer. It's polite, and... experienced growers share their knowledge because it helps their hearts beat smoother... not because they "need" to.
