If its not seeds couldnt it be from not flushing? I "heard" that if your weed has enough chemicals in it it will crackle... I however have only witnessed this once... and there was no seeds

Either seeds or you didnt flush your grow from the nutrients 2 weeks before you harvested.

2 weeks is a bit steep for a plant using a ton of nutrients and depriving them of just that. (just my humble opinion)

I recommend 10 days, but it all depends what kind of nutrients you used (organic vs chemical).

From what I've researched/read it sounds like orangeman hit the nail on the head - it's the lack of flushing. Pump those nutes out for a better burn and taste!

I only flush a week and always seems to do the trick. I do it one week before i harvest with 3 times the amount the container is, and then again the night before, with 3 times the amount. Always comes out a charm
