Smoking on an empty stomach gets you more fucked more quickly, just like drinking alcohol on an empty stomach. I wouldn't recommend it though, it could make you sick. It all depends on personal preference at the end of the day, and if your weed is running low or is expensive to buy then rather get ratted on an empty stomach.

P.S. I heard on another thread that wetting your bud gives you more smoke in a bong - is this true?

i like smoking a bowl at home before going out to eat. and then smoking another one when i get back. as much as i love driving stoned i hate getting arrested so i don't bring weed with me in the car.

back on topic, i don't notice a big difference in the high. i get the munchies more if i'm already hungry. getting your weed wet before hitting the bong would create steam, which wouldn't absorb any (much) thc, but probably would siphon off some more particulates, and then it would smoke longer most likely. i haven't tried it, i don't put anything on my weed (except more weed)

Eating before toking is not recommended. The reason being is that the body is working to digest the food and because of this it takes a LITTLE while longer for the THC to take effect. An empty stomach is always the best way to get high.

Anyway, how can you smoke something that's wet? I mean, I've done it before, but it was very lightly wet, just a bit damp.

my pipe has another chamber under the bowl (like all glass pipes?), the weed is not going to get wet at all

is it more like the first pipe (the water bubbler) or the second one (the regular glass spoon)

you can't put water into the spoon. if you tried to, you'd suck the water through and that would suck. plus even if it didn't suck through it would get really dirty from the resin and shit that pulled through the bowl, and make your pipe clog up
