this is my first grow, and i hope i didn't mess it up to badly.
one of the light fixtures fell on top of the plant. it must of been sitting there a couple hours. most of that branch was burnt bad and the rest of the plant looked pretty sick. i panicked and cut the stem where it was turning black.
it's been about 15 hours since, and it looks much better except the bottom leaves are still droopy.
if anybody has any advice, or knows what type of effect/s this might cause, i would appreciate any help i can get.

(i'm posting a couple of pics of the plant in it's present condition)

She should be fine... I burned a few leaves..
But I think you dont have enough light in your grow room... or your lights arnt close enough... cuz there is ALOT of stretching going on in there...

thanks all. i thought it'll pull through also, but my plants condition is a whole lot worse now. all of a sudden. all ghe new growth tips beneath the where i burnt it starting dying. (actually all the leaves underneath the grow tips were dead).

anyway i read somewhere that the plant needs to lose over 50% of the leaves to die, so i started to trim them off (all while crying).

it was soooo sad. ready for what it looks like now?

if there's a chance she'll pull through, PLEASE i can use all the advice i can get (i.e,..watering more/less, nutrients etc.)

DUDE!!!!!

your plant is GREAT

STOP cutting leaves OFF...... NEVER EVER cut leaves off unless they have something that can spread to your other leaves!!!

NEVER....

the only problem with your plant is that it is all stretched out..

YOu should bend your plant. Gently fold it in half without breaking the branches.. and then tie it down or use some nuts and bolts tied to strings to hold it bent over..

You need to FLOWER SOON... like last week..

Garden Knowm is right ... unnecessarily pruning of leaves can cause sex-reversal from the stress, and very little is to be gained by it, usually ... forget about the burned part, nothing you can do about that ... the less you do to your plant, the better ... she has pretty good self-defense mechanisms in place ... just water properly (some advice I need to adhere to better) ... feed nutes only when plant indicates it needs something, and enjoy ... don't expect to grow killer smoke when beginning, just learn from each grow ... it is a highly interesting project ... " keep it Simple " ... :smokin:
