I'm planning on building a cylindrical carbon scrubber for my vent system in the next couple of days but I'm having a hard time finding some charcoal for it. I checked out my local petstore, and the activated charcoal doesn't seem to be worth the price for the amount I'm getting. Like 7.99 a pound.

Is there a brand of charcoal I could buy at Home Depot in bulk that would work well in the carbon scrubber?

Thanks

look for a store that sells pond supplies for koi fish. They sell 5 pounds for about 8 bucks around here.
