well went to court again, still d.a. wants to prosecute me cause she doesnt believe in the law. by her words also at that time d.a. made a comment to the judge that i was on probation. my attorney jumped on it confronted me about it, im not so said no. attorney then askes the court to do my background, which they did and it showed that i wasnt on any probation. anyway i dont understand this d.a. from laguna beach court. shes a lyin wasteing time and money. the law is there. my rights are being violated, the stress is just ridiculus. im innocent still she wants to make me do comunity service, ive had a chronic disease for 20 years. because she dont believe in this law, whatever... how can they get away with this, do i need to go to trial, if i do, it costs more money. i could plead guilty and take community service, but im innocent i have a valid referral, and im not in the best shape physically or moneys. what

Yeah, I would agree with lulu. Try to make it public somehow that your rights were violated and stuff. I would also talk to you lawyer cause you might be able to take it to a higher court than that one. My lawyer is doing that for one of my charges in hopes to get it taken off.

I would almost say get a new attorney if this one cant get you out of it. I am not sure completely on this issue but are you able to talk to attorneys to see what they cant do without having to spend tons of money. I am lucky cause I knew a good lawyer that could get me out already cause he did the same for my brother.

if you'r going to get a different attorney, and you think this may go to trial, then change your attorney first.. you could be charged for changing attornies half way through a trial, and you dont want that..

secondly, make it public.. make the DA look like a baddie, whos trying to take away your rights.. make sure everyone knows and theyre on your side.. get research to back up your case, experts who can back up your case.. research it yourself if you have to.. make sure theres no way she can win... hopefully, if it goes to trial, you wont get a mean old nasty judge lol good luck :)

You can get charged for changing attorneys during the trial? That is something I never knew of. That sucks. Just like ghostoker said try to discredit the DA. I have trial tonight for possesion and the prosecuting attorney is trying to make an example of me for some reason. My lawyer is using all sorts of things to discredit him and the good thing is the prosecuting attorney is young and doesnt know as much as my attorney it seems. My attorney is using all sorts of medical issues for me and other things to help get me off hopefully. With enough patience I am sure you can figure something out and get out on top though it might be a pain in the ass.
