I'm overwhelmed. Too many to choose from. I need advice.

Info:
Grew once before a couple years back. Some BC-something that just went wrong (bonzai plants and buds). I plan on trying again in 2-3 months with a proper setup. I'm thinking ~6 ebb&flow controlled buckets, 600-1kW HPS, carbon no-smell can, with fricken METERS this time and a bit more knowledge.

I don't smoke much/often (cigs not at all), mainly due to lack of availability. And I've never smoked a "strain" that I knew about. I'm wanting to grow for personal use +friendly fire.

Seeds:
There's so many out there, he's a list of what I've gathered for possibilities from suggestions and tempting descriptions.

AK-47
Blueberry
Bubblegum
Cinderella 99
Haze
Mountain Jam
Northern Lights #5
Skywalker
White Widow

So:
growing experience: little - need something not too hard to screw up
smoking experience: little - want something tasty and not too harsh (more potent -> smoke less, probably goes with that)
budget: ~$200 - for this I'd want like 3+ strains for variety (say, 1 sativa-dominant pick-me-up, 1 indica-dominant nap-time)

Quality > quantity

Which would you suggest me (these, hybrids of these, or others)?

Blueberry didn't give any anxiety and gave a lasting high (2-3 hours since I seem to come down quick) with a very smooth smoke.

WW is hard to grow right. Blue berry is a little mild for my taste.
Northern Lights #5 or an afghani would be good beginer strains.
Try to stick to a 8 week strain or less.
If your looking for a huge yield get Big BUd.

Northern Lights is a forgiving plant , for the inexperienced, and is a powerful stone, as well ... also known for very good yields, NL is hard to beat ...

Northern lights are a very good first grow . It was mine and I did well easy to grow. Very good high. I want all you name but I still have AK-47 and blueberry to try, working on Papaya or some say mango and White widow. I haven't tried the widow yet it's in veg but the papaya is crack on a stick to me. The next time I order and piss off the wife I will get bubblegum, C99, and I want some Skywalker. Working my way through a good bit already. I got a strawberry cough and a misty that I'm waiting to get big enough to proof clones to make shure there females. No males in the flower room please. Good luck and go northern it's good.

How is ak-47 to smoke and does it give paranoia like some do? Just curious that's all.

Northern Lights seems to be just about unanimous here. Maybe I'll just stick to one strain to keep things simple this "first" time. If for nothing else, I might as well let the shops store the unused seeds for me until I'm actually ready to use them!

Probably going with:

Thanks! Won't be any grow reports for a whiiiiiile tho :(

Ended up ordering from seedboutique:

NL5xHaze
Mountain Jam
Sweet Purple

Will likely start off on the NL one from it being so recommended, then grow from there! Wonder how long it'll actually take to arrive (vs. their "7-28 days")...
