This has probably been done before, but not as much as music etc so what the heck.

I'm reading "Moll Flanders" by Daniel Defoe. It's the biography of a woman that was like, a whore, a thief, such things. It's pretty cool, it was written before there was standarized English, so it's a bit of a challenge...but worth it:)

What are you reading?

The Great Shark Hunt. 1st volume of all of Hunter Thompson's non-books.

Just finished Shadow of the Giant, the final book in the Ender's Game series. I stand firmly by my belief of Orson Scott Card being the best storyteller alive today.

well, Its a plant, at first I thought, ow shit what will this be (I have to read it for school), but the farther I'm at, the more I like it. It's rather dramatic, which I'm normally not into, but hey, Moll Flanders proved me wrong:)

I'm reading She Got Up Off the Couch by Haven Kimmel. It's a sequel to her first book, A Girl Named Zippy. Both books are about a young lady who grew up in small-town Indiana, and she just writes funny stories about her childhood adventures. In the first book, her mom, who tended to be sort of sedentary, sat on the couch nearly all the time, reading. She titled the second book the way she did because in it, her mom got up and went back to college.

Secrets of the Code -The unauthorized guide to the mysteries behind the Da Vinci Code. By Dan Burstein.

Very interesting read. More of an investigated look into the topics and not so much of a "bible thumping" type book. Gives you tons of info and the opinions of other researchers.

The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Trip should be required reading for anyone on this board. Pretty much a true story about the San Francisco acid scene in the late '60's and the "Acid Test" parties that gave rise to bands like Jeffereson Airplane and The Grateful Dead.

Currently I'm reading The Extravagant Universe written by one of my professors (quite interesting too), but a really good book to check out is The Big White Lie. It's an eye-opener. I think it's written by Michael Levine, but correct me if I'm wrong.
