Ok, I have a media exam tomorrow and I'm basically in panic mode rite now. I can't answer this question and it's really annoying me.

"It would help us to plan the new comic if we could be clear about how children's comics have developed since they were first published. Give us your thoughts and discuss the significant changes."

I must've read this question a million times and my mind is just blank. This never usually happens to me, I can usually always bullshit my way out but I can't see me doing it this time. I've tried researching on wikipedia but it hasn't helped me. I don't know why i'm posting this because I doubt anyone cares. Ok, I'm gonna just keep cracking on, should I light up a bowl to inspire me?

This is all I have so far and tbh it's bollox:

'There is always change, it is how we adapt to that change that determines how successful we can be.'

Just some pointers (lol, did Media for about a month in college before I dropped out of everything).

Find a comic that has been around since the year dot. The Beano is a good example. Look at early copies on the net, then compare them to the one youve just bought for 20p down the corner shop. The dilemmas that the characters face, how many different strips there are, has the writing style changed, are there more characters/the complexity of it. Also, look at the drawing styles.
You could then compare it to something like The Simpsons comics, the strips that are in newspapers on a Sunday, even manga. Oh, and dont mention the Mohammed cartoons. For the love of God, dont mention them.

rougue its basicly in mine and your terms what ideas and how would u wanna put accross those ideas if you was to creat a new comic book by following the ways other peopl have done it.

so just bang on abotu "following historic creations and ideas basis like spiderman, hellboy, sin city," see what moves those people made to get to the top of the comic book indsustry and people like marvel comics and shit like did they go stright to a opublishing office and such the diffrent creations of the characters and how they all in a way seem to resemble eachother.

I would think that you can touch on the actual character desgins and how they've been modernanized, how comic books have incorporated more 'average' characters rather than your typical 'superheros', and the how the story lines have changed and touch on real life/current issues.

Bugs Bunny is an older character and compare him and others like him to say ren and Stimpy, Spongebob and how their humor has changed
