View Full Version : leaking nug jug

i keep my nugs ina medium size spice jar, but recently i noticed that some of the smell is escaping around some of the crack on the lid. now i know this probly isnt anything, but i dont wanna put my preciouses at a risk. does this mean its not airtight anymore an i should switch containers? :confused:

who cares dude. i leave my shit in a litlle tin or a baggie. it doesnt matter if ur weed is air tight or not

Now Im not usually like this, but if you dont have anything decent to say, then shut the fuck up.
It DOES matter if its kept in an airtight container or not. If youre keeping it for a long time, or trying to cure it, then it definitely is.
You wanna put the Herb in a mason jar, stick it in a cool dark place and open the lid each day for 10 minutes. If it hasnt been cured, then this will cure it and make it dry throughout, therefore transforming all the THC from its acidic form into a psychoactive form. It also gives it a better flavor, aroma and helps it burn slower.If it has been cured, then it stops the Herb losing its potency.

glass jars. glass jars. glass jars. you can find them anywhere... most C.C use little jars you can get at art stores for around a buck or so in the paint section. The crystals wont fall and wont stick to the sides and its a perfect air tight seal everytime. Plus good to showcase those exotic buds.... of course right before you grind it and smoke it hahaha

yea, baby food jars are a GREAT container, theyre small, airtight, and the glass is thick so it wont break when its dropped(usually). good luck!

yea the only reason i was worried was cause ive had this jug for ages upon ages, probly dropped it countless times.

but in the end i just filled my sink with water an put the jug in, and no bubbles leaked out so i decided it was prettymuch airtight...

lol sorry buddy, but that means its water tight....lol not air tight.:)
