Yup, Its rust.... but other growth is gggreat :}

Hey all. This is kinda an update and a question.

I got this plant, and as u can see the leaf is rusty. And some leaves are curling.

I have a feeling what our little garden knowm is gonna say though }

"New growth is great. No need to worry, some plants will have a messed up leaf or 2 or 10"

Im hoping this is true :thumbsup:

Also some leaves are drooping on the largest plant. I my guess is that the plant is not transpiring properly. Due to good deal of constant artificial wind:p

foxfarms ocean forest mix.
No ferts yet. cept a bit of biobizz root stimulator.
400 mh light. about 12 inches away from tallest plant.
85F average temp
28 RH
ph tap water to 6.8 but when i test soil its at 7. Mabye ill ph water to 6.5?
Im also letting bottom of pot dry completely out before a new watering.

2 plants of left 3 or so weeks, other four plants 2 or so weeks old. The right most four plants are actually the same age. just 2 of them were Repotted a week sooner than others. {goes to show u what a little repotting can do} Thx GN :dance:

anyhow, what u guys think about the rust and droopiness?
Im not too worried atm, but why not ask u good doctors :rasta:

p.s. At what height should one start LST?:confused:

Hmmm... this is getting worse.

I was not too concerned about one leaf but now im seeing more leafs getting this rust. And the original is getting worse.

Any ideas?

hm could it be some chemcal dripege.. look under the leaf maybe bugs

well here are some pics.. although terrible quality due to a terrible webcam being the only thing available. If you look at the leaf (at least if I do) its rust colored and the rust color is spreading.. I have seen fungus and its not that I dont think.. I have also seen every bug in the book and it doesnt look like that.. possibly a nute difficiency?

I leeched and went full strength 24hrs ago on these and this rust color is spreading like the plauge.. but not to non MJ plants in the same area (same nutes res). Possibly an iron def? I am using dyna grow with a pinch of epsom salts at 1000ppm. Rust color was a little evident before changeout but changeout was a little overdue.. the rust color is now spreading like mad.. to all other mj plants in the system.. NOT COOL!!

Man hydroponics is like.. awsome one day and shitty the next.. I mean that plant is exactly 3 weeks old today and those leafs on top are 9 pointers! But.. this is about the third time that something has gone very wrong in the hydro setup that would not have in dirt... what to do what to do??

I dont have any experiance in hydro just this first grow in soil.

I did get the problem settled though. I just did nothing and let the babies grow. eventually those leaves fell off. The plants are doing Great. Im a bit over 3 weeks into flower.

Thx for the compliement on the camera. :} its just a 3.2 megapixil. I like it though.

Ok guys I still need your help..

I checked the res today and ppms dropped from 1000 to 700 in 48hrs.. ph went way alkaline as well.. I adjusted but that change wasnt very expected at all.. and the plants freaken sucked the color of the nutes out of the resevoir! Water mixed day before yesterday was nice green tint.. today it was clear.

Also noticed the plants most affected are the ones whos roots are now down into the resevoir water.. dunno if its a coincidence or what.

any ideas?
