Concerta

So i'm getting concerta (Methylphenidate) for my attention problems. Anybody use this? I'll be taking it in the mornings before school and somedays I smoke before school too. Anybody got any information on this.

I have taken it for years now. Works pretty well for me. I have smoked in hte morning as well, I mean it will sorta counteract it, depending on what your usual high is. But nothing bad has happened for me, I would say do not take it hten smoke right away, maybe take it at breakfest then wait 20 minutes or whatever.

It makes you feel like utter shit, after. At least for me, but I use it recreationaly lol so... it might be dif 4 u

i took that for awhile but stopped about 4-5 years ago. it makes your heart rate increases noticeably (to me anyway) and it kind of gives you energy, but not in a normally way. it is kind of hard to explain. like if you are sitting down you might want to walk around or something yet it makes it easier to pay attention. generally it made me kind of jumpy too, like i was always kind of on edge. overall i found it unpleasant. also one effect that doesnt real matter one way or the other was that when i took it my hands got cold. and as advertised and why you are taking it it will make you more efficient at studying and make you focus on whatever the task is at hand. i really dont know why it is used recreationally, the effects arent really a drastic change and i dont find them the least bit pleasurable. maybe if you actually have add they have a different effect than on regular people. and i have taken it a few times in the last week actually since i had some left over and have been studying and taking finals and a few of those time i smoked while it was still in my system (it lasts 8-12 hours) id say it kind of made me higher in a way, yet more focused than when im normally high, honestly exactly what youd expect if the drugs just mixed and didnt have any weird reactions with each other. oh one other thing, you will have no appetite whatsoever when youre on it and that includes when youre high. also it is pretty much impossible to sleep while it is still active in you, so it is perfect if you would have to stay up all night or something. honestly the drug i could compare it to most is acid, not mentally but how it physically makes your body feel. i dont mean it is trippy at all, just how it makes you feel physically. once again kind of hard to explain to someone who hasnt done both themselves. that post was too long, i apologize

I was prescribed that junk for ADHD... i hate pills and medication, I have always found holistic medicines that work better. I should sell that shit i have in my cabinets...
