:( i was applying some pressure on the stalk, get a look inside at the under growth.
And the trunk snapped a little, only about a half inch , so i put a twist tie above and below it.
Should this work?
And what should i expect for down time?
And what other kind of trouble should i look for because of this?
Are there any nutes i can give it to speed up this healing process?
I drew a line where the split was with a marker, so you could see it better, hope that dont screw with it. :(

I wouldn't remove it at all.
If you managed to get it on there soon enough after it occurred then it'll be fine as Friendowl states. It should be completely recuperated within a week to a week and half.

what i do when this happens(and beleave me it happens a lot during scrog lol)is put some rooting powder in a line along the tape or bandaid and leave it for a couple of days then support above the break with string or wire to support the stem then take of the tape and let air get to the break and hey presto fixed hope this helps. the postman.

yeah trick is to help the wound EARLY or you end up like me.. with a perma split :( I dont see her suffering too much But Im sure she is... just got ST so hope that will help her Im pretty sure she wont ever heal up again though :(...
And yeah this is the 3rd time this happened to me... I really need to be more gentle lol stretch them day by day instead of BOOM big stretch... :(

I got this from a good book....
Put honey on it! Honey has natural preservatives that help heal a plant. Just keep an eye on it - the book said you can get fungus... I've done it 4 times and it worked great.
