Ill try to make this short. I am planning on moving to Canada when i graduate (october). But i don't know where to go? I am HUGE into snowboarding and the outdoors, but don't want to live right under a mountain where the cost of living is real high. I'm 19 and would like to live in a young community where i can meet lots of people i can relate to. I heard Vancover is ok? Whadaya'll think?

Yeah, I live in Nova Scotia out on the east coast. You'll probably want to move to B.C for the skiing and I mean shit, it is considered the second best place in the world for weed so it should be up there on your list of places.

check out Fernie, Vernon, Nelson, Rossland all the little places before you move to somewhere like Vancouver. There is some really cool small towns in B.C.

i'd say just about anywhere in BC would be ideal. Local mountains, beaches in the summer, lots of bud.. you name it we got it.
plus since your 19 you can drink legally

Hey 3rdEye, you seem to really recommend Nelson B.C. Can you tell me anything about it? Also whats the job market like up where you guys are at? I am going to be finishing up my training at Wyotech(Big automotive school) and was hoping to get a job in the related field.

Nelson is kinda hard to describe, its a small town with lots of friendly people, their is not nearly as many jobs here as their used to be though because alot of Americans are moving here. The night scene is pretty shitty though, if you like going to the clubs and bars and stuff...well it isnt really like that here. its really good if you like sports and outdoors and stuff so definetley check out this town if you can. If you have any like specific questions you can just PM me or whatever.

I'm an American but have been all over canada. IMO Vancouver or Montreal! Montreal is close to a lot of ski resorts in VT and upstate NY and is a REALLY cool city. Like Killinton in VT is probably only 3 hours or so.

Everyone is saying B.C. and I canā??t really argue with that. I took a train from Vancouver to Prince George years ago. Wow what a beautiful trip!! Plus of course all the good weed there. If you really want to be close to the best skiing go to Banff. Itā??s like right there and skiing is like their biggest industry!
