Hey, i should put this in the health discussion forum but i figure more ppl rread the lounge forums and stuff :)
I noe that weed contains tar and all and isent great for your lungs, but i wanted to know if you were to quit smoking for several months if your lungs would heal, ive heard in school that wen u quit smoking u cough more cuz the tar is being removed from ur lungs, truth or myth?
I ask this only cuz im 14 and im participate in alot of running sports and shiiit, and i love my weed but i dont smoke too too much and i wanted to make sure that im not gonna get fucked over, and when im older and i smoke more i can buy a vapourizer or a bong, cuz i like the smoke, its half the fun lol

marijuana smoke iz different then tobacco. the smoke duznt cling 2 yer lungz az tobacco duz. if yer a rlly heavy smoker, uve prolly coughed up brownish coloured spit er even bitz ov tar. this iz yer lungz cleanin themselvez out sumwut. i dunno if they wood totally clean themselvez out er not, but quittin fer a while wood definatly help.

Well, anything you smoke isnt good cause you have all the tar and stuff no matter what. The good thing about marijuana is that it is usually more natural than cigarettes and stuff. Cig companys add all sorts of chemicals and stuff that cant be good for your lungs. If you smoke bud though out of bongs and vaporizers it is definately more healthy. Even if it was bad for you to smoke if you do it every once in a while it really wont be that noticable, especially while you are young.

The tar is only in the leaves. Trim the bud well and don't mix with tobacco. Best to use a vaporiser if you have any breathing difficulty but cannabis will help clear your lungs as it makes all the bronchial (sp) tubes expand.

there iz no way that the tar iz in the leavez an not the bud. first ov all, there is NO tar wutsoever until you combust(burn) the bud. tar comez frum the smoke, whether it be cannabis er tobacco. usin a vaporizor eliminatez the smoke, an therefore the health issuez.
