hotel kooyk amsterdam

were going to amsterdam on sunday, i have booked the hotel kooyk after i read good reviews, but i wanted to know if anyone here had stayed there.can we smoke in our rooms?

I think if you keep it ventilated and make sure none of the other guests are stuck with the smell that comes with it, it is okay. I haven't stayed there, but that's the way it goes just about everywhere I *have* been in my country.

We used our shower. brought a few dryer sheets and made a tube with a loo roll, have a shower afterwards- why not? an use lotsa shower gel an smelly stuff.

It musta smelt an we got a few dirty looks, but I had been very loud (accidentally) on the 2nd night and that mighta been why we pissed them off slightly :S REALLY didn't intend to be bad examples of irratating tourists that night, but the exstacy and bubblehash, an pickin up a lock of pubes from the floor thinkin it was a gummy sweet (what a moment)

the hysterical laughter couldn't be held in an was shakin the walls it was so loud

anyway, most hotel bathrooms will have an extraction fan to avoid dampness, it should help in the clearing.

Our window only opened slightly. if yours opens fully use that if the wind isn't blowing inwards.
