What in your opinion is the best thing to do with stems? Iv heard people smoking them because they do contains SOME thc (well, i think so anyway, i think iv smoked stems along with a lil bit of bud when runnin low few weeks ago). Well, iv just got a few stems here and i was wondering if anyone has anything usefull i can acculy do with them, im not smokin them cuz i hav'nt even got enough (not like im gonna collect em either cuz they taste like shit to smoke). So i was thinking is there anything i could do to use these stems instead of just chuckin em?

I've been doing that for a while, GOt an ounce of the fine stems you find inside the buds.

Things is, its taken a few months an so i imagine the earliest stuff to go in has lost all potency (as if stems are super potent anyway!!)

Might pop em in a bottle of some high-alcy spirit or liquor for a while an see if it works, green dragon but not using decent plant material.

Well, they have got extremely small amounts of THC, some people make tea, but its really not worth it.

I chew em too, i love the taste of them, but tbh i dont many stems, i used to, but now it really is just bud and all bud :)

I got 2 Oz's today and i only got like 2 stems in the whole thing, the rest of the buds in nugs with no stems. It's all stuck together with the trichs

those are the best when its just a fat nug cause when you break those nugs you the 1st person to see the untouched crystsals inside... i pickd up an O of jamican 16 a year ago.. n it was just one nug.. shit was crazy and i wasnt even high yet hahahaha

The vast regions of knowledge available on the internet, and some people are still giving out bad information.

I've even made cannabutter with seeds, as the HULL of the seed is fairly rich in THC. (I'm not talking about the pulpy inside)

Here's a recipe from my cannabis cookbook.

-Pour a cup of salad oil or coconut oil into a blender.

-Cut up or break the stems into the length of no longer than 2 inches.

-Set your blender on "Chop".

-Add your stems to the blender a pinch at a time until the rotors start clogging up from the stemmy goodness. When this happens, pour the entire mash, oil and all into a saucepan and heat it for 10 minutes.

-Strain the oil, return your mix to the blender.

-Repeat the process using new stems and add a little more oil to make up for what you lost.

-Repeat this entire process several times until the oil is heavily saturated.

-The final preperation can be stored for later use in a jar in your fridge, and can be used for most recipes calling for cannabutter.

Make something with them by extracting the small amounts of THC like Grim said or just throw them away like everyone else said. Not even worth it to smoke stem..

Stems do have some THC in them. Most of my stems are covered in trichs. I either chew on them or smoke them when the nug runs out.

Chew em. You can get a small but accurate read about the taste of the bud. If you vaporize it then you can compare the difference between the bud and stem taste.

i put them in my grinder and grind them really good, then take out all the stringy-stalky shit, then mix that with half burnt shit i have laying around (i'm always dumping my bowls out when they aren't even cashed, just cuz i want to smoke green) or mix with roach weed or something, and smoke outta my water bong with ice... gets me high...

I'm actually a big fan of this recipe, though it tends to not just have the oomph of cannabutter.

WOW! ok to set this post strait. stems DO have THC in them. The amount of THC in the stems is ridiculousy small. you would need to smoke probably 20 bowls of stems to get yourself high. its just not worth it. when your de-stemming your bud just toss the stems either in your mouth for the taste, or in the garbage.

yea that's the downside of the 'high' it last a total of 20-25 minutes.... and then your sober..

If you smoke them, this may be true because of the THC to pulp ratio.
I'm telling you, heat them in oil and you can't go wrong. I've gotten completely baked from this method more times than I can count.
