im 18 but their house their rules. and th ecans were in a cooler in my closet cause i didnt finish cleaning up form cinco de mayo. my mom was looking for osmehting in my room and found the beers, then flipped and searched everything. i c ame home and everything was lined up on my bed

Yeah that's what I'm saying. Why was your mom crushed over you being a teenager and doing what nearly every other teenager does. I mean it's kind of expected of us now.

yea my parents would never suspect that I smoke weed cause I try to avoid doin stupid shit, but once my dad saw my bong, he flipped the fuck out. They'll learn to deal with it one way or another, just gotta give it time and reassure them that your still got everything together and well.

well my mom flipped cause my grades have been going down for like the past year and i just went on concerta which is like aderol cause i got diagnosed with ADD and she thinks im just stupid cause the pot but i really havnt even been smoking that much and only on weekends cause our school drugtests.

we never really talked about smoking but like to her it seems like my life is falling apart cause i broke up with my longtime gf (who my mom loved) cause i coudnt deal with her anylonger then this and i have like 4 fs but im just oover highschool and ready to leaveeeee cant wait to move to oregon for college

Well now I can understand why she was so upset.It is as hard being an adult as it is being a child and I think both sides would get along fine if they learnt how to compromise a little.You owe it to your parents to try your hardest at school and try to keep your grades reasonable and also if you dont you may suffer later in getting a good job.I hope everything works out good for you all.

If your having trouble with school now brace yourself because college is about 100 times harder than high school. If you cant handle your shit now than you got to figure its time for something to change. I can see why she's freaking out. When grades go down parents always blame drugs first. You got to prove that you can handle both.

Foreal - get your shit together. Have a talk with your parents and explain to them that you're just a recreational user and you aren't addicted. Also tell them that you are willing to do anything to make them happy. If she makes you promise to never smoke again, explain to her that you will soon be independent and can make your own decisions. However, you do respect her opinion and love her, so you will abstain from the herb until you have your grades up and etc.

Trust with your parents is a lot like your credit report homie, once it's down you're screwed until you slowly build it back up.

If you're making F's now what are going to do in College. It sounds like your mother has the right to worry. Maybe you should take a break and sort out the other aspects of your life for a while.

I know no stoner likes to hear "maybe you should quit for a while" but thatā??s my advice. Had the rest of your life been on track your mother would probably not be as upset.

Donā??t waste your parents money/or yours at college. Itā??s expensive so if you donā??t intend to give it your very best effort than maybe you should do something else.

Hope you get it all figured out.

My college isn't that expensive; I have a $4000 a year coming my way. Every semester since junior high, I start off the semester with failing grades, then end up with flying colors. This semeter is just a lot worse because I don't really respect classes where my teacher knows less about the subject than I do. I'm one of those kids that puts work into not doing work, but still gets good grades.

Thats not quite fair. After all she is his mother. She sees all this other stuff going on in his life like failing school and what not. He didn't exactly set the stage very well if you know what I mean.

She's just doing what she believes is right for her son. Respect your mother she sounds like a nice lady. It was a mothers day dance for fuck sake.

I understand how she thinks your on a 'downward spiral'. My best mates mum, Ben, is completely... well. She knows that he smokes pot, and she knows that whenever we meet up that we ALWAYS get blazed, and he says that she comes into his room thinking that hes shooting up Horse.
Mrs. Ben, theres a bit of a difference between skag and pot. For one, pot stimulates the mind. It makes you more creative.

what the hell is a mother son dance? if she cried over that then it was her fault for getting upset over it and thinking it made you a bad person or something. I mean i can see getting pissed, but crying? come on. and you should really stop smoking all together if it is why youre failing. but seriously are you talking about a dance where you take your mom, because that sounds degrading to everyone involved unless you go to some sort of "special" school

haha haha haha haha.. Now.. Tell me.. What's wrong with beer? I understand her being sad because of the weed.. Well, not that much.. My mom took alcohol and weed pretty good.. lol

Anyway, 12 beers, that's not a big amount.. I just got back from Denmark, we were four guys in my room, and we drank, It's no lie, TWO nights, we emptied three times 4 six packs of smirnoff ice, 4 - 5 times 6 six packs of beer, and two or three bottles of smirnoff vodka, two bottles of sambuca... Now, that was two GREAT nights.. I was drunk for, four days straight, but this amount was consumed on board the ship to denmark, I was drunk the day before we left, and the day when we arrived..:p Pretty great nights all of them.. But, believe me, I've NEVER consumed THAT big an amount before..:p
