finding pipes at concerts (DMB)

Alright so I'm going to the Dave Matthews Concert this summer in Pittsburgh and I was wondering if they'll have pipes for sale. I know they sell them at other concerts but I don't know about DMB.

Just buy a cheap metal one at a head shop, guarantee it will be cheaper and you'll have more choice.

lol, dave kinda sucks imo, but I DO know that when I went to see dave and OAR at Alpine Valley near chi-town, there were none to be found.
and I doubt you will see any anywhere else.

Could you just get a small glass piece? Even if they are selling them at the concert, which is doubtful, I'm sure the prices would be WAY jacked up.

yah but those 'vendors' were not connected with dmb at all, so it totally varies place to place.
I wouldn't bet on it.
just smuggle your own piece in your shoe if you wanna be smart.

yeah i went to warped tour last year, and i also took my g/f to ozzfest (i didn't go cause i didn't have a ticket, so only her and her friend went) but they sold pipes at both of those events at least.

ive been to many dmb shows and they never ever ever sell pipes and shit there. just the band merch.

yeah ive been to 3 dave shows, never a pipe to be seen.
the security near our section at my 2nd one yelled out "what's that smell?? get me some of that!" and laughed and walked away. there will be plenty of weed around you, and plenty of potheads, so just ask some real hippie lookin people for some rolling papers or just buy your own. or some blunts.

and i dont really like dave too much anymore but u people "loling" at him are crazy. clearly you have never been to his shows live. i know you wont understand but its something you have to experience to understand his genious. dave does not belong on albums, he should be heard live in my opinion.

pixel I've seen him at Alpine Valley and yeah I'll admit it was a decent show, but way too many unnecessary jams and riffs.
That voice of his is a tad on the annoying side.
Dave's a good songwriter, lol somewhat, and a great musician, but not a great or even good vocalist imo.
there are MUCH better bands out there.
who just don't sell out and do huge spectacular cbs concert specials.

Yes. you CAN find pieces there. Of course they arent goign to be out in the open, but walk over to the camp ground(s) There are vendors out there with pieces of all types. you can find molly, weed, balloons, brownies, rice krispies(with cannabis people), papers, wraps and everythign in between. Not hard to find....i got a bubble from there last year. have fun man ill be at the one in Noblesville, IN Verizon Wireless....camping and shit is goign to be tight as hell!

It depends. Obviously the band isn't selling pipes, it just depends on whether or not independant pipe vendors choose to sell at the show. Usually they target hippy crowds, so DMB is debatable.

You want a real hookup, hit Phil Lesh/Trey Anastasio tour this summer. You know there will be plently of folks trying to make a buck selling drugs and whatnot.

if you are out to buy anything other at a concert(than a tour shirt that can only be bought on the tour), be aware there is a huge mark up on absolutely everything there. like someone else said get a piece before hand, if they pat people down the usually wouldnt have someone empty their pockets anyway, but if you are afraid of it just put it in an empty pack of cigarettes or something when you empty your pockets
