Ok I dont know about any one else but to me marijuana highs demand music. It's like if I'm still having a bad time when I'm high if I throw on some of my fav tunes everything gets better, or how you can understand songs better or hear words or fast verses better than you could when you were sober. It's like earlier I was smokin and was really high and I wanted to listen to a song on my cd but it was in my cd pigstack so I tore through my cd's just to get the CD I wanted and pop in the cd. Then on the way trying to listen to it my computer was freezin up and stuff and my brain got hot and I felt like the THC smoke was leaving my body because I was really mad I couldnt hear my song and I was coming down, now I turned on some music and I feel spiritual and like floating mist in the midst of the instrumental tones :)..Mmm I'm comfortable.

Weed increased my love for punk rock tenfold. Smoking a gram and then putting in some Bad Religion or Zero Down and then going for a walk with the tunes is easily the most relaxing thing I do.

I used to be able to listen to fucking anything while high. I remember my first time I heard some goofy reggae (no offense to those who like it, but it was pretty weird), and I kept laughing because I liked it for some reason. Actually, my first two times was when I'd appreciate any music, now I don't listen to just any kind, I have to like it some how.

I only really seem to absorb the full depth of my music when high. I will not smoke pot if there is no music to listen to. Wonder why that is.

oh man, I was listening to Nasum in my car while I was fucked up, and it was the most beautiful display of anger ever. and the revalation that I had during the swedish language songs that Miesko was screaming in swede I fell in love with the album from that. it sounded so lovely

Whoever mentioned being able to hear lyrics better is so right. I've notice that has been happening a lot more recently.

Weed made me open up to rap/reggae/ska and techno [funny huh?] and yes it does seem like you udnerstand verses more. IE: Twista, you can understand every word he says, no matter what song it is, when you are super baked in my experience. Its trippy and just rocks, cause you understand the song to its fullest [if it has a purpose that is]

hey.. weed and music is universal! haha
not really into rock/punk but still got respect cause i can still jam to it
im heavily influenced with the westcoast rap/ hip hop style. sippn 40z n blazn Bs.. from the burbs so underground was always something to bump. alternative (radiohead, muse) is coo too.. but when im blazed its looounge, jazz , bossa, reggae n gangster rap.. cause u need kickn bass to fully put ur mind on a flying trip haah just nod ur head!! hahaha

Absolutely nothing...
Nothing?
...NOTHING compares to watching a live, talented orchestra play.
And I don't even care if you're not into that kind of music. I'm not either. But, goddamn, you watch them for a little bit, and you realize you are so fucking happy from how much you're enjoying yourself.
Just do it you pussies.

To me , listening to my favorite songs while being high is PURE euphoria.
Some songs I havent heard before sound so good, and I play them even when I'm sober... most of the songs that made no sense to me when I was sober (usually I dont pay attention as much) make so much more sense to me when I'm high. It is just fantastic how it all works.
Tupac - Weed Got Me Crazy
Now thats a tune to get high to.. if ya havent already I suggest you do :D

Bone Thug's high is the best, because theres alot of meaning in their songs, and you can understand every word(when usually they rap so fast its hard too)
Bob Marley is real good too, because the message is usually really great and peaceful in his songs.
Bone Thugs and Marley are easily the best things to listen to while high.

I know what you mean.
Miles Davis is great for when you're stoned. He's great both ways. It's just good to smoke up and groove behind some tunes on Bitches Brew.

Forget Ipods, CD's, etc. XM satellite radio- 833 Top Tracks rule. If you don't like this - your not an old stoner.
