So whats everyones take on psychic phenomena and the sixth sense??

I went to a psychic once (I'm sorry to admit) and I think the things she told me could've been true for any other girl who walked through the door. But, I do think that certain ppl have gifts others don't and are able to feel or see things that you and I cannot. But for all of those who claim to have a 6th sense, I'd bet most of them are just after you're $$$ and aren't psychic at all.

i dunno i dunno i dunno... i find it hard to believe in things that there is no proof of, but sometimes i get the feeling that there must be more than what we can see.. i guess im still tryin to form my own opinions, still growing up.. as for psychics, i dunno, maybe.. but there are so many fakes and frauds that as a rule i dont believe any of them lol

Its all in the interpretation.
I did tarot once and it was all suggestive, I put my experiences and ideas against the cards and my mind made it relevant.
Same with stars, they say general shit that applies to many people and we go WOW, THATS SO ME!
I live to be proven wrong though.

There is an energy that surrounds everything, everywhere... I beleive that there are those that can "tap" into this force and they receive special abilities. I don't think it's like being psychic though. I don't think they can ever control the energy directly. But they do tap into it and it can help in amazing ways, depending on how in tune with it you are. The many examples of great wisdom passed down throughout time show clearly that this energy provide incredible insight to those who look for it. I also believe that many many many people tap into this energy without really knowing. Such as when you are concentrating on trying to figure something out, and then, ah ha! the answer comes to you.

Many, many people and many different religions have very similar explainations refering to this universal energy.

I don't know if I believe in psychics or not I mean who knows?
What about a fourth demension. I mean if you lived in a piece of paper in a two demensional world you wouldn't believe anyone that had seen the 3rd dememsion where we live on how things work. You wouldn't believe that things can come out of an enclosed box because in a 2 demesional world if you drew a box and something in it it could never get out.
So maybe we just can't understand things because we are not capable of thinking that way??

I believe in the ultimate power of the human mind/conscioussness. I also believe a few people through history and in the present day have been able to make use of some of the gifts that are lying in wait in our minds. It just takes focus, discipline and an open mind. The most difficult thing is to remove the doubt that we naturally feel because of all the things we have been taught about the material nature of the world and boundaries and laws that govern it. We are literally addicted to our beliefs, they are the hardest thing to release, and the most gratifying thing to see confirmed. The power of a belief i think is underestimated in this world. There are, of course, a lot of bullshitters, and that only makes it harder for us to have the faith in our own minds. I guess once w realize that all of reality is made from the same interconnected mass of conscioussness, we will realize how easy it is to control. That might take a while tho... ;)

Try this when High As Fuck. ((You need to be flying for this to work.)) Have someone lay down with a blindfold on. ((Or just their eyes closed if you can trust 'em to not peek)) Now put your hand just over any part of their body ((really close, but not touching)) and ask them which body part you are over. They should get it. Me and my girlfriend did this and it worked really well. I don't know why it works either.. It's sorta like when you know someone is staring at you in the car next to you, then you look at 'em so they look away.

I believe everyone has 'intuition' and the more open minded to it you are, the better you can harness it. Though most psychics are frauds there are the occasional that aren't I think. Anyway, we only use like 10% of our brain. Imagine our capabilities if we used 90%-100%. Oh and I know this kid named brian who ((to a very select few)) he says he can move some objects without touching em but he doesn't know how he does it. And we were playing D&D with him and we were all like "Move the pencil then dude." and he was like "I dont know how to do it on command really.." and so none of us believed him and we were all kinda making jokes at his expense but then the pencil rolled a little bit. Dunno, coulda been the fan or something, but one damn odd coincidence. And we were like "Whoa, did you do that?" and he just kept saying he wasn't sure if he did.

I Totally believe in being able to contact the deceased.I have a few ouija boards i believe they really work.You can ask certain questions to see if the personh that you are in contact with is really that person.Also a few times i have had them where my grandma came and there were things she told me i never knew so i asked my mum she verified these things and totally believes me as her mother used to hold a seance every sunday for about 20 people when she was alive.Im a little sceptical of psychics im sure alot of them are frauds except maybe the ones that dream these things that happen.I do 3 sets of tarot cards most days and runes too.HMMM i always seem to get the same cards that someone close to me is decieving me.When using a board burn incense (FRANKINCENSE OR MYRRH) believed to have spiritual and religious qualitie and reciting a good prayer will ensur you get a good spirit.I hhave had bad ones where there going that bloody fast u cant keep your fingers on it.

Anyone who has more than a passing interest in psychics and other flim flam should go to www.randi.org, it should leave you in no doubt that psychics are all frauds and that the whole spiritualist movement is a fraud committed by two sisters a hundred years ago.jacquelyne- Ouija boards 'work' because of the ideomotor effect. This is when we unconsciously move the planchette with very small muscular movements. You should try doing a Ouija board with your eyes closed...I guarantee it won't work.
