I Heard it nuetralizes the PH level or something, does that mean it eliminates the acid build up? sorry just kinda new, any info would help, Thanks!

ph measure acidity, if your soil is acidic lime will neutralize it if used in the right amounts

You need a PH testing kit. You can test the PH of the water you give your plant using a pool tester, or you can get cheap garden testers at Wal-mart, Home Depot, and most carry-all stores. :)
Personally, I recommend a PH pen. I used to try and use the other methods, but I get sick of matching colors and the possibility of my PH being off.:thumbsup:
