I am in the states...does anyone have any good suggestions for a cabinet to house 2 plants? Maybe from home depot/lowes/walmart or target? Also...should wood be used or is a polymer type plastic ok?

Also...i would mind a little FAQ on what scrog is/does and is it worth doing for 2 plants.

Thanks ahead of time!

Don't you want to build it your self?

You can buy a premade cabinet... but you're still going to need to hack it, cut it, saw it, drill it, tape it, bend it, push it, pull it, bang it, test it, remove it, re-install it, and hammer it.

If you build it yourself you can save $ (IMO), and you can have it custome made to EXACTLY what you need/want. :)

What you say? No? Need to buy one?

I am not against building one myself...i just figured i could skip the leg work of creating one. Maybe i will have to make my way to the store tomorrow to gather some wood. Maybe they can help me pick out some good stuff...ha ha.

Well, not to "steer" you in any direction, but building it your self, if you have the tools and the inclination, will be much better and rewarding.

But, yeah... there's various people that use cabinets from Home Depot and such... and they modify them... and they grow fine...

I still need to add incoming and outgoing fans, i am going to run about 4 CFL and ...something else above. This is going to house about 2 plants...they better be females...or i will freak!

Actually, that looks perfect for a 2-plant or possibly 3-plant ScroG, I wouldn't try more. It's not really how many plants you grow that's important anyway, but yield/time, and that's more a factor of genetics, lighting, nutrients and ventilation that it is number of plants, especially when talking about a small grow area like a cabinet.

Well, it's too late now, but...

At Home Depot, you can buy a cabinet made by Mill's Pride. There are 2 models well-suited for growers: the C13 and the C22.

The C13 measures 24"x30"x~65". I have used it several times and get yields between 4 and 5 ounces under a 400W HPS and a Waterfarm.

The C22 is wider, not sure of the dimensions.

I did hear a rumor that Mill's Pride discontinued the C13 and C22, but they may still be available in your area as stock they are not replenishing.

The C13 costs $99.

I would offer people to pm me for instructions on how to set it up, but this site doesn't offer the pm feature to non-paying members.

I miss Overgrow. Sigh...
