I am going to see the doctor tomorow... actually in about 10 hours. But anyways I have been having a hard time falling asleep for a while now. I have never been that good at falling asleep, but lately it has been getting bad and I have been averaging 2-3 all nighters a week. I have tried otc sleep aids and I do not like them. They do not help me fall asleep, they just make me tired the next day after I have taken them. I don't have problems once I am asleep, it just is trouble getting there. I know that smoking bud can help me a bit, but I don't want that to be the solution. Is there any drug that is fast acting and won't stay in my system all night... Remember I really only have trouble falling asleep.

ask for "Ambien". it's a great sleep aid that puts you down gently with no hangover after 8 hours of sleep! it's probably too late for this doc's appt but you can always call the office and ask for a change if what you were given doesn't work or gives you bad side-effects...

if in a pinch and don't mind that groggy feeling the next morning, try excedrine or tylenol PM's. and one's enough unless you've been on em for a while...

Yeah i suggest ambien, i havnt used lunesta but ive heard that its not good. Benzodiopines (not spelled rite) are good, but u can get addicted to them really easy, so i dunno if u wanna go that way. I dunno if u have already tried benedryl, but it helps me alot, and Diphenhypadramine (definatly not spelled rite), the main chemical in it gets out of ur system in 6 hours.
