Well, I am into week 6 and I have been using a hand held micro scope to look at the trichomes. They still look clear to me, however the leaves are turning yellow, and falling off.

I picked a small bud off below the screen, and "dried" it for a couple days. I've read all the articles about drying and curing, however I decided to smoke it anyway just to see. I got totally stoned... and I mean REALLY stoned. What does this mean? Should I still wait? Or should I harvest now?

Pics attached.

I think what he meant was 80% of your hairs are red then your good to harvest.. but yeah the magnifying glass works better from what i hear but i havnt got to use that method quite yet but Im hoping to ina about 5 or 6 weeks

Sorry, but this isn't all true.

When the trichomes look like a golf ball on a tree, that simply means your plant is about to start mass producing THC.

Clear means the trichomes are just an empty vessel.

Cloudy means your plant is filling the trichome with delicious THC.

Amber means the trichome has matured, and if you wait too long it will decompose along with the THC content.

People say if you harvest when they're mostly cloudy, you'll get more of a heady high instead of a narcotic stone.

If you harvest when the trichomes are mostly amber, you'll get a narcotic, couchlock, numbing high.

Harvest with both, and you'll get all of the effects above!

The choice is yours, and yours alone. <3

Don't worry too much as a few leaves yellow and die, it's natural for the plants to use up excess nitrogen in the last few weeks of it's life.

(It's completely normal)
