President fox has backed down due to pressure from the Bush administration, and Mexico is now NOT going to pass the bill decriminalizing all those drugs (which included LSD as I just discovered). Fucking Bush ass kisser!

The announcement late Wednesday came after U.S. officials urged Mexico to tighten the proposed law "to prevent drug tourism." On Tuesday, Fox's spokesman had said he would sign the bill.
Hehe, 'drug tourism' exactly what many on here talked about doing

honestly, it would have created a bigger problem I think.
just look at all those drugs that would have been legal to possess
with coke and heroine readily available, there's no doubt the number of addictions would skyrocket.
Acid is mistakenly grouped in there, and was the only one I really cared about besides weed.
but as much as I would have like to visit meh-hee-co
and trip balls and get a lifetime supply of acid,
that country is probably a lot safer now
cocaines a hell of a drug

Theyll probably just knock coke, heroin and PCP off the list. I dont think they should be on there anyway

Nah, it's all pretty stupid.
I wouldn't say Mexican laws are dumber then American laws... Law is stupid. Rules are fine but written law takes it too far.

I think mexico should take some of the harder drugs off of the list.I think that only marajuana, acid,LSD,psycadelic mushrooms, peyote, and any other natural substance should be on the list. And Bush needs to keep his got damn hands out of other peoples countries.

The drug bill would have actually made it harder to score in Mexico. The local police don't have (and never had the authority) to arrest you for drug use.
The bill actually would have given local police the power of arrest and courts the power to forgive any amount if a person snitched or claimed addiction. This was actually a gringo law.
The amounts in the Bill are totally ignored as it is. So now that we know the truth, everybody should spread the truth.
For those that think drugs other than cannabis are bad I would suggest not taking them. No stupid laws will help. Some people are destined to destroy themselves no matter what we do.
For goodness sakes people let's get educated and quit being reactionary as if the rejection of the Bill was a bad thing. The purpose of the Bill was to impair dealing and it was shot down.
Viva Mexico!
