Ok, so here's the situation: I've only worked at one real job before, and they did not do a drug screening. I have an interview in about 50 minutes with Target, and I'm wondering what type of drug testing they use, and whether they'd make me do it on site after the first interview? A lot of my friends say they'll simply set up a later date for the drug screening, but I'm pretty paranoid about this, so I need someone to verify this. I don't really know what kind of user you'd call me, I take maybe 15 hits total per week, and my last hit was monday night at midnight, so basically I've gone 33+ hours without. I hear it's a saliva test, but I am not sure about that at all. If anyone has previous experience with Target's employment process and drug testing policy, please fill me in. Thanks!

I took the Target drug test ages ago, back when I was a young kid. Anyway, it was a piss test then, if that makes you feel any better. That was seriously like 10 years ago though.

So post-interview update: They said they'd call me to let me know if I'm hired for the position, and they'll require that I do a drug test within 24 hours of my hire date. The problem is, though, that the woman was not sure if it's a urine test or not. If it is, I would like information on the cheapest way to have clean pee w/o using detox. I hear that taking zinc sulfate and vitamin B the night before, starting chugging diuretics(cranberry juice) with water in massive amounts, and peeing early in the morning before the test to clean my system out works pretty well. Any experiences with this? My above estimate of my usage I realized is a bit high for my normal consumption, I'd say in the past week I might have taken 6 hits, ending on monday night at midnight. If anyone else is 100% positive on Target's current drug-screening policy, that information would be incredible. I appreciate the help.

You can look up what tests a company uses here...

Don't know how up to date it is.

Thanks for the info. It appears they use a urine test, but I was hoping for saliva. If anyone has information on the success rate of a wizzinator, instructions for usage, I'm borrowing one from a friend, and I need to know how best to get away with this, as I'm sure there are a few ways to screw it up. Thanks ^^

Ok, so I still haven't gotten a call from Target, but I'm assuming they'll call me to hire me(hopefully) soon, so that's bought me enough time to fit in with this detox drink I bought. The guy at our local head shop said this stuff works 100% if I follow the directions, but has anyone else heard of the Tribal Essence brand Herbal Toxin Flush? Basically it sounds to me like the basic dilution technique I've heard in 50,000 other places, but with the addition of their drink and using sports drinks such as gatorade instead of cranberry juice. Any experience with this product specifically, or any others of the same type? Any input, success stories, failure stories are welcomed. Thanks ^^
