with Petitions. you havea set ammount of time to gather signatures, You, acnt for example, have a signature going for years to try and get enough sigs for legalization of Pot. The signatures do expire

I told my mom that I predict in the next 10 years weed is going to be regulated like alcohol in the sense of it being legal but only above a certain age and not being able to drive or show up to work high. I know some people can function just fine on weed but their still are those who can't--me. I smoke weed on special occasions and weekends but if i have to get up the next day and do something I don't.

OK, so I signed it... but it's a worthless exercise because it doesn't threaten anyone's job. You have to call/write your elected officials and DEMAND an end to prohibition... Marijiuana will continue to be illegal so long as you think signatures and hope will settle it.
