View Full Version : Can Weed Be Too Good?

I know we all say we want to get the most potent weed available but is that really true? Or, is there a limit to how potent you want the weed to be?
For example, I get medical marijuana and every now and then I'll pick up something so potent that one hit gets me really, really, really high, two hits and I'm out of my head, and I wouldn't dare smoke a whole joint to myself. I don't have a lot of free time so usually I like to just get a bit high to make some dreadful task, like yard work, a bit better. I tend to not want to smoke the really good stuff because I know I'll just end up on the couch with a bag of chips.
So, what do you think? Can weed be to good?

When I saw the title I was like, wtf no way, but now that I read it I see what you're saying. I'd rather have medium-high grade weed so that I could smoke a joint and be blazed and then have a few hits of a bowl to finish it off to be totally gone or not and just stay the same. So yeah I see where you're coming from.

Nah, there is no such thing as too potent.
Although I do know where you're coming from, I think that's the ideal weed. I would save so much money if one hit got me feeling good, man.
If one hit is too strong, then don't fucking hit it so hard! If that weed really is that strong, then only inhale a little bit, and be good to go.

Yeah, that's what I do when I get something really strong. It kind of takes away from the whole ritual/experience of smoking though. Taking one little hit doesn't really compare to kicking back with a nice joint. Know what I mean?
Incidentally, I'm not a newb. I've been smoking for 24 years. I've got a pretty high tolerance too.

Just stay away from indicas, and you will be off the couch....sativas will be better if your worried about getting couchlocked, but I believe most people are after that..and that is what is considered "good weed"

They where smoking and falling all over the place, one was just starring into the window of the convenience store and combing his hair... They were pretty much begging for a cop to come on a disorderly complaint...
Nothing beats medicinal marijuana... I'd smoke it every day if I could.

Nah, if I could smoke the best weed I've ever smoked all the time I'd be one happy camper.

More potency=less smoking

I've heard of strains sold in Amsterdam that can almost knock someone not used to it, utterly off their ass but I'm not sure if that's a bad thing.

I look at it like this.. as long as I dont have to go anywhere where I might get caught being high .. potency isn't a big issue for me.
I just want to get as high as possible hahah, get as fucked up as I can.

i suggest you make a new poll and add seperate answers but inccoperating whether or not they smoke everyday, or if they are a common smoker, just not everday or if they rarely ever get the chance to smoke/or otherwise it's not an everyday/every other day thing. ...
