SO TO ALL YOU GROWERS DON'T NO WHAT I DID WRONG
so i tried growing for the first time so far so good 44 days in to flowering....but shit has change i got caugth,, my roomates mom wich is r neighbor ,,, she came up to my roomate her son. and told him i know what your doing i know but she sed she wasn't going to call the cops cause her son lives here and she doesn't want him to got to jail ..am so piss i think she found out because of the smell and his big mouth man i tried so much to keep the smell down i thougth i had under control i learn that i din't......man am so bum out... my babies are 44 day into flowering under a 1000hps am thinking of putting a 1000mh on besides the 1000hps to make harvest faster rigth that should be more lumes more growth rigth... well am moving as soon has i harvest i hope i have enuff to move lol am moving into a nice house bye my self NO ROOMATES THEY HAVE BIG MOUTH FOR SHIT THAT THEY DON'T EVEN GROW.....but yeah am going to relocate and learn from my mistakes o well one thing is for sure carbon filters baby......................next time lol gool luck peeps

The Lumens the MH gives is more for vegging it would add more heat than anything.
Never grow with a roommate.

The MH wouldnt really make much differnce at all, because during flowering the plant uses red spectrums of light, and the MH is blue spectrum, so you'd only be making more heat.

i thought if ya added a small amount of blue spectrum along with a big amount of red spectrum i thought that would do a lot of good

It's ok highweedskunk. Buster, your on to a good'un there, i didnt think of it, try and get a few CFL's that are a more reddish spectrum than blue. MH really isnt worth it... What it'll do it make the plant slightly taller, but no real growth on the buds...
And you cant really make it bud any faster... its one of them things that takes time, but good luck man

You can cut the light hours down to 11 hours on 13 hours off. and then 10 on,and 14 off. This will speed things up, but also cut your yield down. But it sounds like it doesn't matter.

Well highweedskunk,

I guess you now know why you should never tell or show anyone your grow. Lucky she didn't call the man you would have at least a year on probation. Plus lawyer cost unless you take the public defender. In two or three more weeks your entire setup should be broken down. When the roommate rolls you need to have your act togther in case she lies.

Sounds like you are ALREADY going to do the second best thing you can... move into a place of your own with no roommates.

The first, would be to move into a place you own. If you grow with someone else around, or in someone else's house, or in an apartment someone else owns... you always run the risk of being caught.

Smell, nosey people/parents, landlords who go into people's apartments illegally while they are out and go through their stuff.

Getting away from your roommate's mom is step one! Maybe she wants some? Leave a couple of rollos in plain view in case she comes back. If she takes them, or one... you know what to do! ;)
