until they release the logs of how many
times abramoff went to the white house
apparently he went to "staff level meetings"

http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/05/01/abramoff.whitehouse/index.html

heres a excerpt from wikipedia's cover of him:

"Some commentators have theorized that there are links between Abramoff and Islamic terrorism: several 9/11 hijackers, including Mohamed Atta, were reported to have made multiple visits to the SunCruz casino cruise ship. [17], leading to speculation of ties between Abramoff and the hijackers. [18] In 2002 Abramoff was a registered lobbyist for the General Council for Islamic Banks, for which he was paid $20,000. [19] Saleh Abdullah Kamel, the chairman of this Council, was investigated for allegedly funding terrorism and terrorists including Osama Bin Laden. [20] "

that makes the connection b/w bush and bin laden far closer if indeed true.

but: Attorny General Gonzales actually drafted an Executive Order (that was passed) which says the President's records-present and past- dont have to be disclosed

Do you know when they will.. I thought his case was over with and he was in jail... or is that part of a different case??

I'm sure he's in so much corruption it's a joke, but hearing anything from any of the corruption cases doesn't come easy.

I can't wait till they get Libby with more and start going after Rove... that will be a great day for america... Fitzgerald is one of the few who appears to be doing the right thing...

they have to release them on or b4 May 10th, and for the gov't that means May 10th lol.... [i will look for and release them here]

i believe this is a case filed JUST to release these logs for the American people.

i don't know much about Fitzgerald, but I also hope he's going after Rove, it's well deserved on Rove's part: which tells me that Fitzgerald isn't doing all he can b/c it has been a long time coming JUST to get some 'criminal intentions' side by side with Rove

I just think fitz is making sure he's doing it without mistake... if you remember how much crap they had to go through to prove clinton lied...

they don't have much to go on, but I think he knows a lot more than we do and he's just making sure he doesn't make a mistake and ruin what he's doing... plus it's the judicial system, so time is a givin factor.

was this not part of his first conviction at all and just for further information??

no, it's part of it
the white house objected countless times on
releasing the logs
appeal after appeal, sorry it was not a case (too early for me)
Judge finally gave a date w/ the ruling against the gov't

WASHINGTON - The
Secret Service's records documenting convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff's contacts with Bush administration officials may not reveal all such meetings, the White House said Tuesday.

The Secret Service has agreed to turn over White House visitor logs showing when Abramoff met with administration officials â?? and with whom. But presidential spokesman Scott McClellan cautioned reporters from viewing the release as all-inclusive.

"I don't know exactly what they'll be providing, but they only have certain records and so I just wouldn't view it as a complete historical record," McClellan said.

Abramoff, who represented Indian tribes in their dealings with Washington politicians and raised at least $100,000 for Bush's re-election campaign, was once one of the city's most successful lobbyists.

When a photo of Bush with Abramoff surfaced earlier this year, the president said he has his picture taken with "a lot of people." In the 2001 photo, Bush is shaking hands with a leader of an Indian tribe. Abramoff is in the background.

The president has said that he does not know Abramoff personally, but Abramoff told the Washingtonian magazine that he had met with Bush nearly a dozen times and that the president knew him well enough to joke with him.

McClellan has said that Abramoff attended Hanukkah receptions at the White House in 2001 and 2002, and some additional staff-level meetings. "But I said I couldn't rule out that there might be other large events that may have taken place that he attended, but that's what I know and that still stands," McClellan said.

Abramoff pleaded guilty in January in Washington to federal charges stemming from an investigation into his ties with members of Congress and the Bush administration. He also pleaded guilty to fraud charges in Miami concerning a multimillion-dollar purchase of SunCruz Casinos gambling fleet in 2000.
