well my lighter died..so last night i usd a scented candle to light the pipe..and ended up with a major headache..think it was cuz it was scented..but now im using a unscented one and it works great:rasta: :rasta:

Yeah probably not a great idea. What you CAN do is light the candle, then use wooden sticks like skewers to light the bowl, by lighting the end of the stick with the candle flame, taking a big hit, and then putting the flaming stick out in a container of sand or something. I use sand to extinguish incense sticks so I'm always set up for when a lighter runs out.

When I was camping recently we lost the lighter right in the middle of smoking; we ended up lighting bowls with pine-needles that we stuck in the fire lol :)

you know i always wondered just how bad butane lighters are. Theres a big difference b/c if u take a solar hit its how it should be: fresh and clean. So when you use a butane lighter do u actually inhale the lighter fliuid/fumes or is it dissappated and its just co2 ur inhaling? Hope to get some inslights on this

ive had to use the candle before to..it sucks...i have since started using my plumbers torch instead when i run out of matchs or my butane lighter dies on me..i have a nive lil collection of zippo lighters but they are just as bad if not worse as the candle
