I remember reading about this somewhere but I can't remember the source.
Does anybody know how eggshells effect PH? I read you're to break them in the water.
I have no idea about this. I have only ever heard of them being broken and put around the plant to stop snails and slugs and small animals like them.

Egg shells are really awesome. I dig egg shells.
They've got calcium, some other trace elements, and a balanced NPK [ ~1.2-0.4-0.1 ].
As far as altering the pH. I assume it may.
As far as using them. The shells need to be dried first, then ground to a near fine powder if you intend on using them as a semi-water soluble 'formula'. If you'd prefer to wait you can crunch them up as much as you possibly can, then toss them in a compost.
Thanks, i think im gunner try it now :)
