someone in touch with the community, knows what's going on, has feedback/input as well as opinions (posting on a regular basis if you mean active member on cann.com) that kinda stuff....

no dude, imo (apart from the love thing) you just have to join in, be part of the community. I like your av aswell...coincidently earlier today I saw the .gif version of that....i think I saved it to my comp....

well on the home page it says that there are 6,000+ active members and something like 33,000+ members..

What makes ONE active?

..what if you read the boards every day but you only post once every 3 months?

I would guess active member is automatically "calculated" by the servers.

We can ask Z, or Ron, or another mod to see what's up with that. But I would *guess*, the servers classify you as "active" if you log in, say, in the last 30 days. Over 30 days, you're inactive.

I DON'T KNOW if these are the numbers, but I guess this is how it's done.

You basically guessed right ... 30 days is the default, though we currently use 60 days as the threshold for determining activity; logins within the past 60 days.

You basically guessed right ... 30 days is the default, though we currently use 60 days as the threshold for determining activity; logins within the past 60 days.
