Hi all, I have had a devil of a time finding a veggie nutrient in my local garden stores/Home Depot/etc.

The only one I've been able to find with a large Nitrogen number, also has the same numbers for the P & K... 20-20-20. Is this going to cut it for vegging?

If it's not acceptable, is there something easilly obtainable that I could add for more nitrogen if necessary?

Thanks for your replies,

Most larger cities have hydroponic stores, especially those in the gulf region where climate dictates that some people grow other plants indoors. I know my city in the deep south has 2.

There are no hydroponics stores in the area, otherwise I would have been able to find something there, I'm sure.

I basically just need the numbers, and any tips on household items that might boost the nitrogen if what I have (20-20-20) isn't right. I can shop on the internet if need be.

Thanks

Thanks for the info. But what I really need to know is if my 20-20-20 is okay to use, or do I need more nitrogen?

YOUR PLANTS WILL LET YOU KNOW.

I HAVE FRIENDS THAT USE DR. EARTH 3-3-3, AND THEY LUV IT.

I USE VITA DROW 3 PART 4-14-24, 17-0-0, 0-52-24, AND THEY LUV IT.

YOUR BABIES WILL BE YOUR GUIDE.

GOOD LUCK

Thanks everyone. I ended up ordering Fox Farms Grow Big yesterday, cause I think it will be better than the Peter's 20-20-20.

Right now, I'm having a terrible time just getting my seedlings to live more than 2 or 3 days. Hopefully I will get beyond this hump. I'm kinda discouraged.

Okay, my sickly seedling has had the superthrive for about 8 hours. It doesn't look any better, but it doesn't look any worse either. I moved it out a bit from under the center of the lamp. So I guess I just wait and see...

I only water with the drop of superthrive in a gallon of water once for now, right?
