Any of you in law enforcement?

Just wondering. I am a law student currently. I am a hard core Libertarian and believe in the full legalization of marijuana. Actually I think everything we have in our society that only harms ourselves or consentual adults should be illegal. Inhaling a pound of cole should not be illegal. Driving after doing it should be but not the getting high part.

So are any of you in the same boat as me? I am going for a law degree but I totally disagree with most of the drug laws in our nation.

Who inhales cole? I don't like the drug laws either, but the only one that really has any effect on me are the marijuana laws, maybe the mushie laws also (but I have never shroomed but would like to sometime.)

i think weed and hallucinagens should be fully legal, well, follow the same laws as alcohol, hallucinagens could have some tighter restrictions than alcohol, but i still think powders and pills are nasty and should stay illegal, if not just under really tight supervision

I was just wondering if any of you were political activist or in the judicial system. Are you actually trying to change things or do you just do the typical stoner image and get high?

I quit smoking a long time ago but I am still a strong supporer of legalization. After my masters degree I am planning on politics. Drug reform is my top issue.
It's hard being a libertarian in politics but I just don't sit well with the dems or rep's.

to be honest, i never really thought about doin anythin for "the cause" til i started posting on here, researching drug laws and punishments, readin up about ppls experiences with the law, that kinda thing

i live on a tiny island, one person could get alot of media attention and raise the issue publicly if they tried, im thinkin bout gettin some mates and stirrin it up, do my bit

Don't ever arrest, prosecute, or punish a user. I'm sure the majority of the people on this board have the same or at least similar political standpoints, as that's the nature of potheads. Personally, I despise the way our nation works. I hate the corruption. I hate the media. I hate the fucking idiot president who can't even give a proper speech without fucking it up while millions of people watch it and I hate everything that he stands for. I'm sick of being lied too. I'm sick of being scared of my own government. I'm sick of my tax dollars being blown on shit that doesn't benifit anyone but G.W. I thought this nation was founded on personal freedom....well, WHAT THE FUCK ARE MY BALLS DOING TIED TO A FUCKING LEESH?

Why serve in a system that you don't agree with? Fight the system, don't become a pawn for it.
