America can't get their addiction off oil because we can't vote them out of office. If one of the neo-cons can answer this I would like to see a response. Why is it that they have voting machines with printer ports but no printers to go with them. Why can't everybody see and verify their results after voting on paper so it can be checked if there are any problems. All the polticians are bought off. Cronyism at it's finest.

The neocons can't respond unless their master says they can. Curse the damned lot of them!

you cant vote the conservatives out because the only choice is;
normal conservative (democrats) or ultra conservative (republicans).....the problem isnt the lack of printers - its the dual party money whoring system which sees both parties forced (or going willingly) into deals with big business interest groups in order to secure the funding they need for elections....
viva la revolution! people rise up! vote Nader :) :) :)

I can understand where your coming from on the question considering the video that was going around in here. There is one basic problem with the printout threory; what if the internal program that was set up to do the "vote switch" was on a 25 sec. time delay therefore giving you what you want to see and also doing the switch-a-roo? And as for the verification, your counting on 145,000,000 people to hold onto a piece of paper. (less than 50% voter turnout)
A method of checks and balances when it comes to these elections seems to be a must though!
Have a good one from a neo-con...LOL:thumbsup:

oil companies want america to be dependant on oil,there are too many people making big bucks off of americans using oil,hybrid cars are ok if everyone can afford them,but i dont believe thats the ansewer,think about this,if a large majority have hybrids,which still use some gas,but if enough people had them,enough to make a dent in big oils profits,the government would not allow production of these cars.the government has to stay rich,and keep americans down.and of course voting booths are rigged.thats evident in the past two presidential elections.the government thinks most americans are stupid.

america was set up as a government of the people, by the people ,and for the people. now it is of the exxon,by the phillip morris, for the merck. we need to drive the lobbyists out of washington if we are to have a respectable government, and reclaim america for the people
