quistion about hps light

i have a quistion which hps light would be better for a small closet 150 hps or 400 hps i want the 400 but cant the closet catch on fire if i use that and how close can the light be to the wall

I run a 400 watt HPS in a 3' X 4' with no problems.. I have run a 1000watt MH in the same box but had to much heat for my set up..

I would think that with good ventilation you could use a 250 watt or a 400watt with no problems..

any light/hood/reflector with a glass covering that you can ventilate will be fine.. A cool tube will be GREAT!
