Since the American countries were built on treason; does that mean everyone of us are heritics? Hmm, that's really good. I think I'm going to quote myself in the future. But seriously, didn't it say somewhere in the bible that under no circumstance you are to betray your king? I suppose it doesn't really matter. Most of those that worship the almighty or other variations do it for convience. Kill a man and all is forgiven in church the next Sunday. Kill a man in the name of god and it's all good. Or suicide yourself to take out 2 of your enemies and you are doing god a service. You know, I don't ever recall hearing about *native americans* killing anyone in the name of The Creator. Unless they were really drunk and stoned. And they were gagged then humped from all angles. I can't imagine them being able to properly express their dissatisfaction when their entire tribes were falling over dead from purposely spread disease while they were hunted like animals into small corners of worthless land after their buffalo almost ceased to exist.

The Bible says servants (i.e. slaves, but probably applies to colonists too) should obey their masters unquestioningly, even if they are tyrants:
Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.
Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ

Yes, but it was God's will to have some people disobey His "personally" appointed ruler (the King of England, by God's grace...) in order to form an independent, free republic, which, in His magnificent foresight, He knew would become a theocracy one day.

ahhh... okaydokie. How convenient. Err, btw, what makes you so certain we going to be a theocracy? What is a theocracy? I seriously hope it isn't where a guy named Theo rules the nation. How bout this. God wanted the people to disobey the king of england because he wanted to see another great flood. These things amuse him. So we destroy everything we built and start from scratch again.

Oh and Oneironaut, that wasn't the one I was thinking about. It was the one where they used the word Kingdom a lot. They were essentially saying the real world kingdoms are to be treated as the kingdoms of heaven or something like that.
