If you search, I know there's a thread that has a link to a system that does just that.

But, hydroponics for soil, um... isn't that like a no-cheese cheese burger?

Maybe you can try a "wick" setup... but, maybe that doesn't work.

But again, search the threads, because I know there's a post somewhere that has a link to such a auto-watering system.

soak the shit outta your plant before you leave.. even consider setting the pot in a bucket of water for 30 minutes.. as long as the water does not come over the top....

If your plant is less than 3 weeks old and your grow container is at least 3 gallons and the temperature does not go over 78 farenheit.. you should be OK...

How often are you watering now?
Are you saturating the soil with each watering?
