I agree with thebathroom on this one...It's a silly thing to do...there is noone in the world who is, by general consensus, either 100% attractive or 100% unattractive. So yeah, obviously some will say you're hot and some will say you're not...what do you do? Get an ego boost from the positive comments or get upset about the negitive comments...I really don't understand what you're trying to acheive.

Although I agree witht he majority in that you are a reasonably attractive women, fishing for for compliments is a decidingly unattractive habit.

This thread speaks loudly about the personality traits of everyone that has posted here. It was/is a valuable test with overwhelming results. But there again, I am just a simple minded analytical thinker. I just wonder what Kiki is doin with the results....

Always saying less than necessary conceals ones intentions, therefore one should only say enough to keep the answering of a quizzical question afloat, for there is no real, useful answer to the original question, just the opinion of a billion people which is bound to differ somewhere down the line.

Courting attention at all costs is a tool used to make one stand out. If I photographed my erect penis and asked the ladies if they would feel threatened if I were to use it on them I too could grab people's attention. But what kind of attention do I want to be a magnet to? There is lots of bait available to make people come to you for a variety of reasons.

Once people have taken the bait they subconciously become pawns. Pawns have their use, but ent worth noin except paving the way to victory for the player'. Posting a response to the original will either add or subtract from the players victory.

I would consider asking the world if I were ugly if every woman i were interested in weren't interested in me. I'd think 'shit', I can't get noin! I'd be like, I don't want an ugly bird so i'll ask the world their opinion of me so i can get a clearer picture of who is available for me to choose from. I just keep reading them :) i'm mostly just intrigued by the different responses there are. The compliments make me feel good, i'm not gonna lie, but i'm also glad because when people say not as nice things, it doesn't affect me that much because i'm comfortable with who i am. A few years ago (like sophomore or junior in high school) i would have been devastated by someone calling me ugly, but now i'm pretty indifferent because i've gained a lot of self-esteem.

It's just something to think about because I have a friend who's going through the "extremely insecure" phase that most of us went through in high school... but he's going through it now. I don't remember what helped me get out of it... but I remember hallucinogens helping :p

That's the thing though, I'm not worried at all about my personality, like I really love who I am and I have a lot of friends, but that also gives people a bias when they're evaluating my looks, because I think that personality TOTALLY defines how you look. I just wanted to see what people would say based on physical appearance alone...

I'd be worried about my persona if I felt the need to ask the world if they found me attractive for any reason. Saying "...I really love who I am and I have a lot of friends..." in the same sentence tells me that if the reverse was to occur then you might actually hate yourself for having few or no friends. Does that mean that the amount of friends you have is a contribution to how much you love yourself? Essentially then, the more other people like you the more you might feel wanted/desired and the feeling of being wanted helps you to appreciate who you are? I am just looking at what I see.

Personality, I think, does not define how someone looks. Personality defines an individual's level of existence; whether they are popular or interesting to others. Physical attraction, or how a person looks, would not be that which defines the subjects personality. I am not saying that it isn't a contributory factor, but I am neither going all out to say that 'personality TOTALLY defines how you look. If that was so then my look would TOTALLY define my personality, That'll be a stoned look, pie eyed, and unable to string a sentence together anytime of day. My personality does not fit my basic physical description.

Showing happiness for having your looks compared to a celeb? I suppose, since you base much on appearance and physical looks, this might win you some more friends and then you might love yourself a little more. Or if it turns out to be false you may well become unhappy according to the reverse polarity of your statement.

Hmm... i read over what you said, SpiritLevel. I can tell you like to analyze people haha, i like doing it too but it's hard on the internet. I guess it's hard to be in my situation and not seem really insecure, but let me try to explain what I wanted.

IRL, I am probably one of the most stable and self-confident people I know. I don't want to sound like I have a huge ego or something, but I am just generally really happy with myself, including how I look. So, when someone told me I was ugly, I started to wonder... Do I think I'm way better looking than I actually am? I thought most people were over-critical of themselves? So I thought well, I'll just post them on a forum and try to get some honest opinions about my physical attractiveness, regardless of my personality. Because one thing is definitely true, all my friends tell me that my personality makes me way more attractive.

I don't mean to be an "attention whore" or anything, I don't feel like I need compliments or anything to feel good about myself... I'm actually really surprised at how long this thread has gone on haha! But thanks for the input, positive or negative... I always like seeing how other people analyze me, it gives me a sense of what sort of vibes I give off, even if it is only online!

I haven't read through this whole thread, but I think anyone who needs to ask people 'how they look' does have esteem problems, or just wants an ego boost. And like Stella said a few pages back, it's kind of like skinny girls asking if their butt is big... it just doesn't make sense. There are plenty of photo rating sites out there... posting pics for the hell of it is fine, I love looking at people's pics... but when people start asking, 'how do I look' when they're obviously attractive, well.. I think it's a little dumb.

Either way, I'll continue to boost your self-esteem and tell you that you're very pretty. I don't know why anyone would call you ugly. :)

I don't really 'like' to analyse peeps, I have just been groomed that way since I'm in the midst of a lot of untrustworthy individuals much of the time. Smokin pot don't help me either with regard to paranoia and such like. It's a funny 'ole world. Have fun with this thread, time to vaporize!!
