Is this bike any good for the price, it seems decent to me for 200 because last trime I checked dimondback is a ok make, and I just want it to ride until I can afford a better one.

I know second hand is cheaper but have you ever thought of small hairline cracks in the frame they can seriously weaken the bike.

I used to ride a bit of bmx mainly flatland/freestyle, but I didnt realty get into it, I could only do a few things and I find that they are to small for me lol that is why I dont buy a trials bike lol.

Diamondback isn't a bad brand. It'll have entry level components and such but should be ok for riding around town and mellow trails.
Don't be too quick to rule out a second hand bike though. I picked up a nice 2nd hand Stumpjumper a while back for $250. That bike kicked ass and was well worth what I paid for it. I probably put 1000+ miles on it before it was stolen.
I like that lowryder, but i prefer the plant ;)

just look for a used one from someone that lives close too you so you can look it over(take it to a bike shop to get it checked out). You will find a better deal most likely.....if your only gonna ride it for a bit thhough just wait cause the resale price will drop alot

get a used one and just spend the extra on better parts. Id get some disc brakes and better front suspension. Downhill can be intense!

I dont downhill, I mainly do jumps and street mainly street, and I preffer hydraulic(sp?) brakes much much better for stopping in short spaces of time.
