I put the link up in case anyone didnt know about this one (in the UK its been every news channel) but now as its getteing close to 2008 it seems to have dropped out the media.

Im scared, god even my mum is scared Id cards are just so against the spirit of this country.

The abuses of this power, to stop and ask anyone for there ID card, are gonna be huge. Much as like the stop and search powers in London were abused by racist cops to intimmedate the ethnic masses in London aster the rights in the 80's

No to ID cards..........Anywhere......I know who i am i dont care if they dont.

Only one plus side to me, Good forgeries are bound to appear hopefully throwing a huge spanner in the works

Peace
Rips

once the id card schemes are firmly in place, and it's impossible to not be tracked and traced where ever you go, you can start kissing any semblance of freedom bye-bye...

i've read some articles hinting it's not that farfetched for the United States as well... :(
