Yes it does a very good one infact, it is set after ff7, and thats all im going to say because anymore would ruin the film. I had this film way before release here in the uk, I had it as soon as the first copy hit the web, I find it more fun waching manga movies in japanese though it is good when they are in english to.

It really is a fan service movie so the story that is there is ok but you would probably enjoy it more if you have played the game.

But non the less, If you enjoy some top of the line eye candy with badass chorographed very over the top action *hey its final fantasy!!* its very well worth it.

Doubt it will be a good childrens movie (not sure as I haven't seen it yet). The movie involves orphan children so thats what the title is refering to.

Saw the JP version a while back, the movie itself wasn't bad, but the story could never live up to the game.

No FF X is the best game of all time, much better storyline, they should make that one into a film :D

X is really good. So is 8 , 6 and tactics. I thought FFX-2 sucked ass. X was one of the few games I had the patience to go max out almost every character. I swear I rode that chicken around the field and doged lighting for like 3 weeks to finish it all.

Right on! Advent Children was indeed a fan service game. And it serviced me in the most pleasurable of ways. It's difficult to point out a favorite seen, because the entire movie was heartwarming...endearing, if you prefer. There's another anime out! It's called Final Fantasy VII: Last Order. It's informative for all those things you wanted to know. Remember, Cait Sith? Well that was actually Reeves, the dude from the Turks. I was always curious why he decided to help Cloud and crew. This movie fills you in a bit. Plus it's action packed with Zack! He whoops off on some Shin-Ra soldiers.

I also here they're planning to release another videogame. Dirge of Cerebrus. It's the videogame for Vincent. You know...The quiet darkness. Vincent's one of my favorite characters. The transformations were my favorite limit breakers! Oh man, I could go on forever...

I better stop. lol
Good thread.

All I've got to say about that is fuck the Thunder Plains! Haha! Final Fantasy X was easy. The sphere grid was a great idea. Certainly, reigns over materia in my eyes. Much easier, fun, experimental, creative, but nonetheless easy to use. Which is always a plus to me. Materia was easy, too, but the AP system was annoying, plus slots and growth were factors in the weapons/armor storing materia. That's the only thing I didn't like about FFVII.

Actually my favorite final fantasy is VI.

I think VII is great the only thing that bugs me is it was alot of newbies first venture into a final fantasy game and or a RPG game period.

So they praise it like its the end all be all RPG game,Its great but i dont think its the best IMO.

To tell you the truth, FFVII and FFX have been the only RPG's I could play full through. A lot of stuff got boring, but those two games kept my attention the best. And have managed to keep my attention even as the release of the game sinks in time. I played Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, FFIII...old stuff. Nothing I could absorb like the others.

I really hope not. I think they should close the door to Spira for good. X was awesome but X2 felt like it was just grabbing for dear life. I couldn't even finish the game. After the shit they go through in X, everything seemed so petty. I really don't see what story there is left to tell that isn't pointless compared to the 1st one. But you never know. A shitty FF game is still better than half the crap out.

Yeah. Punctuation helps. That's why you were confused.
